Major General Omar Cisneros, CSLI

Omar Cisneros, who also holds the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) in the United States Navy, combines military service, humanitarian leadership, and ordained ministry in his work with the Corps Saint Lazarus International (CSLI). An Episcopal priest, he has founded humanitarian organizations in Mexico, including an aid network for victims of drug-related violence and a medical mission serving indigenous tribes in the north. In parish ministry, he has overseen large-scale liturgical events, guided congregations through transitions, and supported growth and renewal.

Cisneros has been a member of CSLI since 2018. He completed the International Leadership Academy and has been recognized with multiple decorations for his service to the Union including the Grand Cross of the Lazarus Union Cross and the Flame of Mercy Award, Grand Commander.

Cisneros is a Knight of the Order of Saint Joachim, a Kentucky Colonel, and a Knight Commander, Order of the Flaming Dog

Cisneros is an active martial artist, competing in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he has medaled in several tournaments. He is also an adventurer with interests in exploration, ecology, long-distance horseback riding, and motorcycle riding. These pursuits reflect the same discipline, endurance, and curiosity that guide his professional and humanitarian commitments.
